Welcome!

And thank you for your interest in my work for your store or gallery.

About the Pottery

Every piece of pottery is designed and handcrafted by one artist. I enjoy adding and building up the surface of the clay—actually, once the piece has been thrown or formed, I just can’t stop there! Therefore, these are “artisan” pots and because of extra details such as carving, etching, heavy texture, and three-dimensional features called sprigging, they are unique and special pieces meant to mix with other tableware.

Each piece is a unique, handmade creation with its own personality. That’s one of the wonderful attributes of anything handmade! Even within sets of mugs, for example, the individuality of each piece is plain. All of the descriptions of volume and dimensions are averages. Due to the handmade nature of this pottery, it is not unreasonable to expect slight differences from item to item in regards to size, shape, and glaze.

Terms & Conditions

The pottery is oven safe, dishwasher safe, and suitable for the microwave. However, if it is a piece with delicate handles such as a trio or duo, I recommend hand-washing the piece. Also, all pottery is sensitive to sudden temperature changes. Avoid preheating or broiling on pottery.

Do not put your pottery on an open flame or on a heating element such as a stove burner.

Bowls

All of my bowls are thrown on the wheel and then altered with texture, sprigs, stamps, and carving to create distinct designs.  Many have been hand-inscribed with scripture--these inspirational bowls are very popular with my customers.

These bowls display well as table top pieces and also look great in metal stands.

Specialty Serving Pieces

The specialty serving pieces include the ever-popular "Trio"

as well as my version of a chip and dip set called "The Stack."

Trays & Platters

Each different tray shape has at least one design that features a scripture and one that does not.

Just read the descriptions to discover all the unique details for each tray!

Scripture Tray Series

What the Difference?

This trays in this series are designed to accommodate  longer Bible verses and the details are much more elaborate.  Sprigs, stamps, stippling, and appliqué are all used to create these trays.   Since this is a series, more tray designs will be added to the wholesale line-up in the future.  So, stay-tuned!
